Hello there! I'm Sofia, my business card reads a graphic designer but I also work as a coach/mentor. I graduated from Willem de Kooning Academy (English Stream) in July 2019, Visual Culture as my Minor.

After that, my graduation project was on show at Dutch Design Week as part of BNO's Young Alumni club. With 66 students we designed and built an exhibition called Under Construction.

In February 2019 I volunteered as a mentor for WdKA's International Portfolio Workshop. For three days I helped prospective students to navigate in the Stations and provided feedback for their assignments.

During that same time, I helped my teachers with Admissions/entrance exams. Because of this, I have inside information about how the procedure works and what exactly teachers are looking for in a future WdKA student.

In the past, I experienced difficulties when applying to design schools. Now it's my mission to help others to go after their dreams.

As for compensation, I ask 150 EUR (incl. VAT).
This price includes

* 60 min face-to-face consultation or a Zoom call, where we discuss your portfolio further and conduct a mock-up interview

* tips and tricks on how to prepare mentally/emotionally for the Admissions tests

* insider information of how the Admissions procedure works and what teachers are looking for

* insider information on how to prepare for design school: what to expect and how to thrive as a student
